The Biltmore Bar & Grille

The sloppy joe sliders were okay. I had the burger with a side of garlic spinach, and the burger was average, but packed with lettuce and the “brioche” bun tasted more like costco brand sandwich bread. It was dry and fell apart, so I ended up finishing the meat with a fork. The garlic spinach tasted more like boiled lawn clippings than garlic, so I exchanged it for a mediocre but generously sized caesar salad. The steak tips were okay, but some were underdone. The wait staff were friendly, but the obnoxiously loud wuss-rock playing over the speakers made it difficult to hear conversation. Alcohol of any type is extremely overpriced—be prepared to pay more than a dollar per year for only 1.5oz of any decent whiskey. I'll also mention that the beer keg urinal in the men’s room has an undersized opening, and you get your shoes washed when your flush it--about as functional as it is classy. Overall, this is very average restaurant with above average prices.

All of the food our party had was excellent. Fish special, steak tips, waffle fries and fried fluffernuter. The fluffernutter was a unique treat that we'd never seen or heard of anywhere before and not only was it delicious but the portion was huge. Some members of our party had alcoholic drinks and raved about the apricot Mai Tai. Our waiter was personable and always there when we needed him and not there when we didn't want him. He was also able to answer our questions about the food or drinks.
